About the job:

Joining Envato right now is quite exciting. Our Brand and Creative team is riding the wave of some important events. There is a lot of excitement about what’s coming next after we launched our redesign in August 2024 and our first brand campaign in October. There are a lot of chances here for creative individuals who want to jump in and take advantage of them.

We want to hire an ambitious Art Director that is eager to make a name for themselves in a fast-paced field. We want to hear from you if you appreciate coming up with huge ideas as much as getting your hands dirty and are constantly searching for ways to get involved (or make your own).

You will be a creative force as our Art Director, working directly with our Creative Director to come up with and carry out concepts that really stand out. Your job is to use your amazing skills to help us improve our high-end design skills.


What you’ll be doing:
-Work with the Creative Director, marketing team, and other creative people to come up with ads and campaigns that are both tactically smart and creatively daring.


-Take ideas from concept to implementation by making campaigns that are visually striking, based on research, and in line with Envato’s brand and values.


-Use your expertise with agencies and campaigns to make sure that all of your creative work is not just on brand, but also groundbreaking—breaking the rules of the industry and connecting with a wider audience.


-Bring a love of technology, AI, and creative new ideas—finding new ways to tell stories and create things using new tools and platforms.


-Always make sure that visual assets are well-designed and well-executed on all platforms, including internet, social, video, and product.


-Keep a high standard for brand narrative, visual excellence, and consistency across all touchpoints.
Turn strategy and knowledge into major ideas that move the brand ahead and strengthen our ties with both present and future consumers.


-Help Envato’s visual identity grow by bringing in new ideas while keeping the brand’s integrity and unity.
Work with teams from marketing, design, product, and engineering to make sure that your work fits the goals of both the brand and the business.


-Help promote a culture of openness, cooperation, and creative quality, where good ideas are rewarded and workmanship is revered.


-To keep our work fresh, current, and ahead of the curve, you should be interested about new creative tech, design trends, and platforms that are coming out.


About you
You have a strong background with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a similar discipline and at least five years of experience, preferably a combination of working for an agency and working for yourself. Your portfolio tells the story: big ideas, great design skills, and marketing efforts that get people interested and make them buy.
You are a great visual storyteller with a really strong eye for detail. You’ve gotten a lot of praise, but what really sets you apart is your drive to create work that is world-class and makes people stop and look.
You’re already riding the AI wave because you can prompt and generate things that mix human intelligence with new technology. Your toolset includes all the industry standards, such Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and more.
You don’t get nervous about deadlines. You always do great work, even when you’re under a lot of stress, since you manage your time so well. You are curious, brave, and love trying new things and taking creative chances.
You make your ideas clear and convincing when you talk to stakeholders or work with your team. You are a self-starter who doesn’t simply take advantage of possibilities; you make them happen.
Above all, you adore coming up with new ideas and are dedicated to becoming the best at creative thinking, art direction, and design.
